What is demineralised whey powder?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Demineralised whey powder is a product obtained during the cheese making process. It is obtained through a demineralisation process to remove mineral salts from the cheese, mild pasteurisation and spray-drying. Whey provides a higher nutritional value and improves the texture of the food products to which it is applied. In addition, it contributes to the goal of sustainability by making water reuse feasible.<\/p>\n

Nutritional value<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Demineralised whey powder is high-added-value food product, with protein to dry mass values above 11% and ash content below 5%.\u00a0 These proportions improve its nutritional and functional level, as it has a lower ash content and a higher level of protein and lactose.
